Membership is open to experienced financial professionals and recruiters who serve the financial community. Our benchmark for financial professionals is several years experience and either reached the 6 figure compensation level (or US dollar equivalent) or obtained a managerial level position. Recruiters qualify if they do searches for this level of financial executives.
Among the many areas that our members come from include:
- Executives in the finance function at firms- CFOs, Controllers, Treasurers, VP Finance, etc.
- Financial service professionals- commercial banking, investment banking, private equity, investment firms, other services
- Consultants- with a financial background or at firms involved in financial consulting
- Public accounting professionals- audit, tax, consulting, administrative
- Recruiters or Interim firms serving the financial community
- In transition executives
- Retired executives who want to stay connected
We are a global community. Membership is open regardless of location.
Our membership process is simple. Come to our LinkedIn group and request to become part of our group. No referral is needed. We generally can tell very quickly from your LinkedIn profile if you qualify. We do occasionally turn down membership requests- either someone is not quite yet at the FLA level or does not fit finance- we can't be all things to all people and don't want to waste anyone's time who will not get value out of our group.
Membership is free. There are no dues. You will not be hit up with ongoing requests for donations. We want you to stay connected for life, no matter what your situation is.
It is part of our way of being easy to work with. We help you get involved as quickly as possible.
